It is scientifically proven that wooden structures absorb and store atmospheric CO2 and that wood is carbon neutral (actually it’s the only carbon neutral construction material). The wood industry requires low energy usage. Compared with brick, stone or concrete, timber constructions certainly do save time, and also labor. This is especially applicable in harsh weather conditions such as heavy rain, snow, and icy conditions, where wood construction can continue without a problem.

4) Timber has an aesthetics


Timber can be used in various forms since more than 100 types of wood are used in architecture. There are different structures, colors, qualities, and numerous ways to construct shapes and varnish wood.

Since Timber is a natural material it reduces stress and gives a feeling of calm and relaxation. The use of timber in interior design regulates the humidity which could aid in helping people with respiratory problems.
