Application

Packing

The intended end-use application for the plywood panel, such as formwork, furniture, packing, marine, or multi-purpose construction. Determines the required overlay, glue type, and structural grade.

Industrial packing, crating, and palletizing plywood; cost-effective panels for protective packaging, shipping crates, and cargo securing where structural adequacy matters more than surface finish.

Wood Species

Hevea

The primary wood species used in the plywood core veneers. Species determines panel density, structural strength, moisture resistance, and cost. Common species include Eucalyptus (densest), Acacia (balanced), Hevea (lightweight), and Mixed Hardwood (economical).

Hevea brasiliensis (Rubberwood) — lightweight plantation hardwood with clean, light-colored grain. Primarily used for interior furniture components, decorative panels, and economy plywood cores where moderate strength and a uniform appearance are valued.
