Plywood for furniture manufacturing
Furniture-grade plywood is usually specified by face quality, core species, glue type (MR/E0/E1), and thickness (9–25 mm common). Vietnamese hardwood cores such as Acacia or Eucalyptus are widely used under decorative veneers or HPL.
What buyers specify
Importers typically combine thickness (stability), core density (screw-holding and handling weight), and emissions class for indoor use. Film-faced panels are rarely used in visible furniture; raw or sanded faces are more common.
For high-volume programs, align panel size (1220×2440 vs 1250×2500) with cutting yields on your CNC or panel saw.
Logistics note
Denser cores increase weight per container; use weight and CBM tools when quoting landed cost per finished part.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
▶What thickness of plywood is used for furniture?
Thickness depends on span, finish system, and local code or OEM requirements. Browse our thickness-specific spec pages or use calculators with your engineer’s design values.
▶How do I estimate container loads for a project?
Start from sheet count and thickness, then use the container packing calculator with your core density and panel size.
