What is formwork plywood?
Formwork plywood is a specially engineered structural panel used as shuttering (formwork) to mould and shape poured concrete. It is designed to withstand the lateral pressure of wet concrete, repeated stripping cycles, and site conditions. Consply uses WBP Melamine glue and a 100% hardwood core for durability.
How many times can Consply formwork plywood be reused?
Consply formwork plywood is engineered for up to 50 reuse cycles when handled and maintained correctly. The number of reuses depends on site conditions, stripping care, and whether release agent is applied before each pour.
What glue bond type does Consply use?
Consply uses WBP (Weather and Boil Proof) Melamine adhesive, which meets EN 314-2 Class 2 requirements. This makes it highly resistant to moisture, heat, and the alkaline conditions of wet concrete.
What sizes is Consply available in?
Consply is available in 2440×1220mm and 2500×1250mm sheet sizes, in thicknesses of 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, and 21mm. Custom sizes may be available on request — contact Vinawood for factory-direct pricing.
