EUDR FAQ
Is Vinawood EUDR gecertificeerd?
Is EUDR a mill certificate?
No. EUDR is a regulatory framework (Regulation (EU) 2023/1115), not a mill certificate and not an "EUDR certified" product mark. Vinawood prepares and transfers Article 9 evidence. The EU operator files the due diligence statement.
Who files the due diligence statement?
The EU operator (the business first placing the plywood on the EU market) files the DDS in TRACES. Vinawood does not file a DDS, does not submit to TRACES for you, and does not issue an EUDR certificate with the shipment.
When does EUDR apply to plywood?
Under Regulation (EU) 2025/2650 Art. 38: 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators; 30 June 2027 for micro and small operators not already covered by EUTR; 30 December 2026 for micro and small operators already covered by EUTR (wood and plywood HS 4412 was in the EUTR annex). The 31 December 2020 cutoff is unchanged. Confirm obligations with qualified advisers.
What does Vinawood prepare?
Vinawood organizes and transfers Article 9 evidence (product identity, harvest origin including WGS84 GeoJSON, legality records, risk notes, custody hops, and a filing-ready handoff). Source Verity organizes and transfers evidence. It does not replace the operator's legal responsibility to conduct due diligence, assess risk, or submit a due diligence statement.
Is Vietnam low-risk under EUDR?
Vietnam is benchmarked low-risk under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1093. That is country context, not a voucher for a given shipment. The operator still collects the information and files the statement. Confirm obligations with qualified advisers.
