Quick Answers

Does formwork plywood in Canada need a CSA stamp?

CSA O121 (Douglas-fir) and CSA O151 (Canadian softwood / SPF) are stay-in-place structural standards. Temporary formwork does not need that stamp. Spec overlay, glue class, and reuse as "up to N" instead.

How many reuses do HDO and film-faced panels get?

HDO Basic up to 10. HDO Premium up to 20. Film-faced: Form Basic up to 10, Form Extra up to 15, Pro Form Lite up to 15, Pro Form up to 20. Maxima under proper handling. Do not add a plus after the number.

Is Form Extra phenolic Class 3?

No. Form Extra is Superior Glue MUF on EN 636-2. Same phenolic face as Form Basic. Phenolic Class 3 is Pro Form, Pro Form Lite, and HDO.

Is Vietnamese formwork plywood duty-free into Canada?

Often, with a valid origin certificate, because Canada and Vietnam are CPTPP parties. Confirm HS and origin with your customs broker. No rate belongs in a blog post.

Is WBP plywood waterproof?

WBP is a water-resistant glue line, not a waterproof panel. Historical Weather and Boil Proof is a boil test on the bond. Write PF versus core MUF and the class number on the RFQ.
