Who files the EUDR due diligence statement?
The EU operator — the business first placing HS 4412 plywood on the EU market — files the due diligence statement in TRACES. Vinawood is the mill. We prepare and transfer Article 9 evidence. We do not submit the statement and we do not hand you a TRACES receipt.
Does Vinawood’s pack replace the operator’s EUDR filing?
No. The EUDR evidence pack organizes harvest origin, legality papers, plot maps, and the commercial trail in Source Verity. Source Verity organizes and transfers evidence. It does not replace the operator’s duty to assess risk or submit a due diligence statement.
When does EUDR apply for plywood?
Application dates come from Regulation (EU) 2025/2650 Article 38. Large and medium operators look at 30 December 2026. Micro and small already covered by EUTR for plywood HS 4412 also look at 30 December 2026. Other micro and small firms look at 30 June 2027. Confirm your date with a qualified adviser. The deforestation cutoff stays 31 December 2020.
What is inside the EUDR evidence pack?
Six pieces sit together: product identity (HS 4412, quantity), harvest origin with plot maps, legality papers, risk notes, custody chain with named issuers, and the filing handoff. A screenshot of a pin is not geolocation. Plots travel as a WGS84 GeoJSON map file.
Does Vietnam’s low-risk benchmark skip plot files?
No. Vietnam is listed as low-risk in Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1093. That is country context. It does not vouch a container. Plot-level geolocation and legality papers still have to match the wood in the shipment.
How do I get the pack after shipment?
You do not assemble this in a self-serve workspace. After a named shipment goes out, Vinawood publishes the Full Doc pack and sends a time-bound link. A prequalification pack is a first look, not shipment-complete. Send the EU enquiry through the contact form.
