What does compensato per casseforme mean?
Compensato per casseforme is the Italian term for formwork plywood, the panel used to shape poured concrete. For Italian and EU work the usual sheet is 2500 × 1250 mm, most often in 18 mm. On Vinawood grades both faces carry a phenolic film, and the glue in the core decides whether the panel is EN 636-2 or EN 636-3.
Does Vinawood formwork plywood carry CE marking for Italian projects?
Yes. Our formwork panels are made to EN 636 and carry CE marking under EN 13986, and the Declaration of Performance for your grade and thickness comes with the order. Check with the project engineer which other documents the NTC 2018 submission needs alongside the DoP.
How do you ship formwork plywood to Italy?
We sell FOB Hai Phong as standard, and a delivered price to Genoa, La Spezia, Trieste or another Italian port can be quoted on request. The sea leg takes several weeks and usually involves transhipment, so ask for current sailing times with the quotation. Container sheet count, grade mix and payment terms are confirmed on the quote as well.
What is the difference between EN 636-2 and EN 636-3 formwork plywood?
The difference sits in the core glue, not the face film. Our EN 636-2 grades, Eco Form Plus, Form Basic and Form Extra, use MUF core glue and suit walls and slabs that dry between pours. Pro Form and Pro Form Lite are phenolic-bonded to EN 636-3 Class 3, which is the specification for infrastructure, marine and other long-wet work.
How many pours does each Vinawood formwork grade give?
We rate Eco Form Plus at up to 8 pours, Form Basic at up to 10, Form Extra and Pro Form Lite at up to 15, and Pro Form at up to 20. These are ceilings rather than promises. How close a site gets to them depends on even release agent, sealed cut edges and dry, flat storage between pours.
Which documents should an Italian buyer ask for?
Start with the Declaration of Performance under EN 13986, which states the EN 636 class and backs the CE mark. Add FSC or PEFC chain-of-custody certificates if the project makes sustainability claims. For EU imports we also provide an EUDR evidence pack on request, so mention it on the RFQ.
