Store panels flat on at least three level bearers, elevated 100 mm off the ground. Cover with a tarpaulin but leave sides open for air circulation. Limit stack height to 1.0–1.2 metres and never lean panels against walls, as this causes permanent warping.

Clean panels the same day you strip them — within 24 hours at most. Concrete residue bonds chemically with the phenolic film after 24–48 hours, making removal extremely difficult without damaging the overlay. Use plastic scrapers, not metal tools.

Cut edges expose the plywood core, which absorbs water rapidly. Moisture entering through unsealed edges causes internal swelling and delamination — the most common failure mode in formwork plywood. Seal all cut edges with acrylic sealant or exterior-grade paint immediately after cutting.

Reuse count depends on both panel grade and maintenance quality. With proper storage, cleaning, edge sealing, and release agent application, panels can typically achieve their rated maximum: 6+ reuses for economy grades, 10–15+ for mid-range, and 30–50+ for premium phenolic film faced plywood.
