Specifications
Basic Specifications
- Grade
Panel constructed with a combination of different veneer grades across core layers. Cost-effective option for formwork and industrial applications where consistent grading throughout is not required.
- Color
Light brown kraft paper color from MDO (Medium Density Overlay) surface. The natural hue of resin-impregnated kraft paper providing a smooth, uniform appearance.
- Application
Concrete forming and shuttering panels engineered to withstand repeated pours, chemical exposure, and high moisture on construction sites. Formwork plywood features overlay surfaces (phenolic, HDO, or MDO) for smooth concrete finishes and extended reuse life.
- Back
Thin protective film applied to the back surface to shield the panel during transport, storage, and handling. Provides basic moisture resistance while keeping the back veneer clean for downstream processing.
- Back Color
Mixed-color back appearance combining dark brown and yellow tones. Typical of economy and mixed-grade formwork panels where back surface aesthetics are secondary to structural performance.
- Core Grade
Core veneers composed of mixed-grade hardwood plies. A cost-effective construction providing adequate structural performance for formwork and general industrial applications.
- Face
Medium Density Overlay at 325 g/m² kraft paper surface. Provides a smooth, paintable matte finish suitable for concrete forming, signage, and exterior use with good durability at a lower cost than HDO overlays. Typically 10+ reuse cycles.
- Face Color
Light brown kraft paper face finish characteristic of MDO (Medium Density Overlay). Provides a smooth, paintable surface for concrete forming, signage, and exterior applications.
- Glue
Proprietary melamine-fortified bonding adhesive. Engineered for enhanced moisture resistance and structural bonding in formwork and construction-grade plywood, combining cost efficiency with reliable exterior performance.

- Wood Species
Acacia mangium — fast-growing tropical plantation hardwood with density of 580–600 kg/m³. Offers good structural strength, natural durability, and excellent cost-effectiveness. Widely used for plywood cores across Southeast Asian manufacturing.; Eucalyptus plantation hardwood with high density (650–750 kg/m³), tight grain, and superior structural rigidity. Excellent dimensional stability and moisture resistance — the closest tropical species to Baltic Birch in performance characteristics.; Hevea brasiliensis (Rubberwood) — lightweight plantation hardwood with clean, light-colored grain. Primarily used for interior furniture components, decorative panels, and economy plywood cores where moderate strength and a uniform appearance are valued.

Compliance
- Applicable Certifications
European harmonised standard EN 13986 for wood-based panels in construction. CE Marking certifies compliance with EU requirements for structural performance, formaldehyde emissions, and fire reaction under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR).; Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification. Verifies the wood originates from responsibly managed forests and is tracked through every stage of the supply chain from forest to final product, supporting sustainable forestry practices.; International quality management system standard. Certifies that manufacturing processes follow documented procedures for consistent product quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction across all production batches.
