Form Extra
SKU: FFP0400
Form Extra is an upgrade from our most popular product Form Basic. While Form Basic is a well-rounded product, Form Extra takes normality to a higher level. The main difference between Form Extra and Form Basic is a more durable glue for harsh environmental conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Form Extra used for?
Form Extra is a plywood product manufactured by Vinawood, suitable for film faced plywood applications. Contact our sales team for specific application guidance.
What certifications does Form Extra have?
Vinawood maintains compliance with international standards including EPA TSCA Title VI (CARB P2), FSC Chain of Custody, CE marking, and EUDR traceability. Specific certification documents are provided with each shipment. Contact our team for the latest compliance details.
How can I order Form Extra?
You can request a quotation by contacting our sales team through the inquiry form on this page, or reach out directly via our contact page. We provide competitive FOB pricing, factory-direct from Vietnam.
Can I get samples of Form Extra?
Yes, Vinawood provides product samples upon request. Contact our sales team with your specifications and we will arrange sample delivery to help you evaluate the product before placing a bulk order.
What makes Form Extra different from Form Basic?
Form Extra is the mill upgrade from Form Basic for harsher pour sites. The card difference is Superior Glue MUF (EN 636-2), not a jump to phenolic Class 3. Density sits at about 600 kg/m³ with a denser hardwood core than the entry Form Basic lane. Pick Form Extra when mid-cycle commercial formwork needs more glue durability without writing EN 636-3 on the drawing.
How many reuses does Form Extra provide?
Our data sheet rates Form Extra at up to 15 reuses under good site care. That is a maximum, not a guaranteed count. Release agent, sealed edges, and flat stacking decide whether a crew lands near that ceiling. Field counts usually sit lower when strip timing and storage slip. Bid against site discipline, not the brochure maximum alone.
Is Form Extra phenolic Class 3?
No. Form Extra uses Superior Glue MUF and stays EN 636-2 / Class 2 even when the face film looks commercial. Only Pro Form, Pro Form Lite, HDO Standard and HDO Premium carry EN 636-3 phenolic Class 3 on Vinawood cards; HDO Basic is Class 2. Do not substitute Form Extra when the engineer named Class 3 on the PO. Write the class number next to WBP, not the face colour.
What should go on a Form Extra formwork RFQ?
Name pour count and exposure first, then bond class EN 636-2, thickness, and sheet size the yard will cut. State Form Extra (Superior Glue MUF) so sales does not swap in Form Basic or a Class 3 Pro Form by habit. Skip sheet prices in the RFQ body — manufacturer-direct quotes come from the filled spec. Big-box DIY phenolic birch boards are a different channel.
Is Form Extra suitable for structural concrete formwork?
Yes for commercial wall, column, beam, and slab formwork when the programme fits mid-cycle MUF reuse. The denser core and Superior Glue lane target wet concrete and repeated wetting/drying better than Form Basic. It is still not a Class 3 exterior glue claim. Match Form Extra to the pour envelope; move to Pro Form, HDO Standard or HDO Premium when the drawing requires EN 636-3.
