Specifications

Basic Specifications

Grade

Premium AA-grade panel with high-quality veneers throughout all layers. Minimal defects, uniform composition, and superior structural integrity for high-performance formwork and demanding construction applications.

Color

Deep brown coloring characteristic of phenolic resin-treated or film-faced surfaces on formwork and industrial plywood panels.

Application

Concrete forming and shuttering panels engineered to withstand repeated pours, chemical exposure, and high moisture on construction sites. Formwork plywood features overlay surfaces (phenolic, HDO, or MDO) for smooth concrete finishes and extended reuse life.

Back

Premium 220 g/m² phenolic resin film on the back surface — the heaviest-grade back overlay. Provides maximum moisture barrier and dimensional stability for heavy-duty formwork requiring equal protection on both panel faces.

Back Color

Solid dark brown back finish characteristic of phenolic resin-treated surfaces. Indicates good moisture resistance and chemical durability on the back panel.

Core Grade

Core veneers all graded AA with minimal defects, tight joints, and uniform density. Delivers superior internal bonding strength and consistent panel performance under structural load.

Face

Premium phenolic resin film at 220 g/m² — the heaviest film-faced specification. Delivers maximum overlay durability, moisture barrier performance, and 15–20+ reuse cycles for heavy-duty concrete formwork and infrastructure projects.

Face Color

Deep brown face finish indicating phenolic film or high-density overlay treatment. The standard appearance for formwork and industrial-grade plywood panels.

Glue

Water Boil Proof phenolic formaldehyde adhesive — the highest water-resistance glue standard. Withstands 72+ hours in boiling water without delamination. Required for marine, exterior, and heavy-duty formwork plywood.

Wood Species

Acacia mangium — fast-growing tropical plantation hardwood with density of 580–600 kg/m³. Offers good structural strength, natural durability, and excellent cost-effectiveness. Widely used for plywood cores across Southeast Asian manufacturing.; Eucalyptus plantation hardwood with high density (650–750 kg/m³), tight grain, and superior structural rigidity. Excellent dimensional stability and moisture resistance — the closest tropical species to Baltic Birch in performance characteristics.; Hevea brasiliensis (Rubberwood) — lightweight plantation hardwood with clean, light-colored grain. Primarily used for interior furniture components, decorative panels, and economy plywood cores where moderate strength and a uniform appearance are valued.

Chemical Properties

Formaldehyde Emissions

Formaldehyde emission class E1 (≤1.5 mg/L). Low-emission standard widely accepted for indoor use in furniture, cabinetry, and residential construction across European, Asian, and most international markets.

Compliance

Applicable Certifications

International quality management system standard. Certifies that manufacturing processes follow documented procedures for consistent product quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction across all production batches.; European harmonised standard EN 13986 for wood-based panels in construction. CE Marking certifies compliance with EU requirements for structural performance, formaldehyde emissions, and fire reaction under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR).; Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification. Verifies the wood originates from responsibly managed forests and is tracked through every stage of the supply chain from forest to final product, supporting sustainable forestry practices.
